Product Description The 'ICU' is a product that is used for remote viewing of any place, person, object or situation over a standard phone line. The product comprises of the following components;

The ICU - connection device - 'Hardware'
The ICS - application software - 'Software'

The Camera
A wide range of cameras can be used with the ICU. The camera must be capable of composite video images, color or black and white, PAL or NTSC is supported.

The ICU and Application
The 'ICU' is a standalone, RISC based computer with internal modem. The 'ICU' handles up to four camera ports directly and can take up to 32 cameras using the Break Out unit. There is also a direct connection for in home use without a phone connection. The 'ICS' application is a software application that runs on Microsoft Windows 95. The ICU continuously displays images on a PC or Laptop over the phone.

The Break Out Unit
The ICU is a 4 port unit. Each Port consists of an 8 position jack. A camera or breakout box can be plugged into each port. The main ICU unit will support up to 4 cameras or 4 breakout boxes or any combination of the two. Each breakout box will support up to 8 cameras. Therefore with 4 breakout boxes, the unit will support up to 32 cameras.
